1. Improper installation
If we do not pay attention to the correct operation method when installing, repairing, and replacing the seal of the jaw crusher, or the force is uneven, it is likely to cause the jaw crusher seal to deform locally, and then cause the equipment seal to fail.
2. Poor lubrication
Due to the harsh working environment of the jaw crusher, ore dust particles can easily enter the friction part. At the same time, in the long-term high-temperature operation, the properties of the lubricating oil change, which is also one of the reasons for the increase of local resistance and deformation of the seal, and then failure.
3. Severe wear of the seal
As the running time of the jaw crusher increases, if the gap between the components becomes smaller, the seal will increase the degree of wear when it is squeezed. Or, when we replace the worn parts, if the replacement cycle of the seal is inconsistent with the wear cycle of the friction parts, the sealing extrusion force of the rubber seal ring will increase when the two are in different degrees of age, which will eventually lead to the failure of the jaw crusher seal.
4. Aging of seals
The rubber seal of the jaw crusher seal is affected by oil quality and temperature during long-term use. If we choose the seal ring improperly at this time, it will lead to premature aging, causing the seal ring to lose its due elasticity and change the sealing state, thus causing the jaw crusher seal to fail.
