3. Adjustment device
The adjustment device in the jaw crusher is used to adjust the size of the discharge opening of the crusher. The jaw crusher has various adjustment methods such as wedge type, gasket type and hydraulic type. The commonly used wedge adjustment methods are from front to back. It consists of two wedges. The front and rear wedges can move to change the distance between them, thereby adjusting the size of the discharge port. It is simple and fast, and such adjustment is very random, which can save time and reduce downtime.
4. Flywheel
The flywheel is also an important component of the jaw crusher. The flywheel plays two important roles in the operation of the jaw crusher. One is to balance the weight of the sheave, and the other is to store energy. Because the jaw crusher works intermittently and is divided into working stroke and idling stroke, the motor load is very unbalanced. In order to balance the motor load, it is necessary to store the energy of the idling stroke when the movable jaw leaves the static jaw so that it can be used during the working stroke. Then release all the energy.
